Charitable Bequests
A charitable bequest to Keren Or allows you to leave an enduring legacy and have a impact on the quality of life for the children who are blind with multiple disabilities. Gifts may be set up as charitable annuities that provide you with income throughout your lifetime or as bequests from an estate.
There are a variety of ways to structure these bequests and they can be tailored to meet individual needs:
Legacy gifts can be made as Specific Bequests, which are bequests that gift an amount of money, specific property, or a percentage of an estate to Keren Or.
Residuary Bequests, give the assets remaining in an estate after all Specific Bequests have been satisfied, or a percentage of those assets, to Keren Or.
Contingency Bequests, is to leave a gift for Keren Or if another beneficiary, such as a relative or friend, is no longer alive. Keren Or could also be named as a beneficiary of a trust, retirement account or insurance policy.
Estate Planning
A planned gift maximizes the impact of a gift to Keren Or and minimizes the gift’s impact on an estate. Bequests paid by an estate are generally not subject to estate taxes.

1. Create a Will
Keren Or has recently partnered with FreeWill to give you the opportunity to write a legally valid will for free!
Why do I need a will? Even if you plan on living for 150 more years, a will is the only way to:
-
Save your family difficulties and complications by giving exact instructions on how to handle your estate
-
Leave a legacy with the causes that matter to you the most!
Making your will is simple. Visit FreeWill.com/Keren-Or, choose the amount you would like to leave for Keren Or and create a legacy that will reach the children that need your help the most.
2. Make a Qualified Charitable Distribution from your IRA
Already have a will? Are you 70.5 or older? Do you have a traditional IRA?
If you answered "yes" to all of the above, you must take a Required Minimum Distribution (RMD) every year. However, if you give part of your RMD to charity, you can make a tax-free Qualified Charitable Distribution (QCD). QCDs are always tax-free, regardless of whether or not you itemize on your tax return.
FreeWill Makes It Easy! Simply visit FreeWill.com/QCD/Keren-Or and use our tool to calculate how much you want to give Keren Or from your IRA. Make a difference for the children who need it the most.
