Caretakers

Work consists of care for children, teenagers, and young adults with blindness and additional disabilities. 

​

Job requirements: 

Willingness to do care work including showers, changes, and feedings. 

Availability to work in the evenings 14:00-19:00, and sometimes in the mornings. 

Preference for students studying special education.

Development Associate and Digital Relationship Manager to cover for maternity leave 

 

Job responsibilities include:

  1. Grant-writing and outreach to Foundations and Federations

  2. General fundraising support, including events, special projects and campaigns

  3. Writing digital marketing and general PR content

  4. Supporting the organization's technology needs as they relate to maintaining donor relationships, e.g. emails, online registration for events, zoom programming, database maintenance, social media, etc.

  5. Long-distance logistics planning

 

The ideal candidate will have:

  1. Mother tongue level English

  2. Facility with technology (Platforms used include: Constant Contact, Wix, Donor Perfect, Outlook, Zoom, social media, etc.)

  3. Excellent written communication skills

  4. Grant-writing experience

  5. Outstanding interpersonal skills, genuine warmth, a positive “can-do” attitude, and the desire to be part of a terrific team

  6. Detail oriented

  7. Hebrew language skills a plus
