Women's Division

Keren Or's Women's Division affords a unique opportunity to our women supporters to make a meaningful difference in the lives of the precious blind and multi-handicapped children and young adults of Keren Or. The Women's Division was launched by a group of women known for their philanthropic dedication to the less fortunate, with the goal of coming together to provide additional funds to help the children of Keren Or.

For over 10 years, this ever growing group, led by Chairperson Marilyn Lauer, has helped to supplement the fundraising done by Keren Or by holding interesting educational, cultural, and social programs. These have included luncheons with guest speakers from Israel, lectures and museum tours, and even trips abroad.

Revenue raised through membership and participation in activities are used to support special programs at our Jerusalem Center such as the Early Intervention Program, and the Summer Camp Program, which are not funded by the government of Israel Ministry of Education.
